Effects of Dietary Supplementation of Lysine and Methionine on Growth Performance, Blood Parameters and Body Composition of Common Carp (Cyprinus Carpio) Fingerling

The current study was carried out to investigate the effects of dietary supplementation lysine and methionine on growth performance, approximate carcass compositions haematological biochemical parameters in common carp, Cyprinus carpio fingerlings (average weight 22 ± 0.9 g) for 10 weeks. Four experimental diets were prepared with supplemented at levels (0 (control diet), T1 (1Lys 0.4Met g/kg), T2 (2Lys 0.8Met T3 (3Lys 1.2Met g/kg). No mortalities recorded during study. Final (FW), gain (WG), specific rate (SGR), feed conversion efficiency (FCE) significantly improved (P˂0.05) fish fed compare control diet. However Lys Met diet compromised performance utilization. There (p˂0.05) effect protein ash whole-body composition by but has not affect whole body lipid content. result this some blood include erythrocytic count, leucocytic count haematocrit showed that plasma cholesterol triglyceride affected. Addition resulted significant differences amino acid profile meat. indicated supplementing improve utilization up slight increase health status carp (C. carpio) fingerlings.
